Ahmed Mohamed Alkhan has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. His successful portfolio of work and achievements at major business organizations has earned him appointments to the boards of various leading establishments in the region.
Mr. Alkhan holds an MBA from Seton Hall University, New Jersey, USA and a BSc in Marketing from Caldwell College, USA and an Executive Diploma in Entrepreneurship Development and Venture Capital from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. Alkhan was the Founder and Head of Investment Banking in Global Banking Corporation, a Bahrain based Islamic bank for almost 6 years. Prior to joining GBCORP, he was the CEO of Diyar Al Bahrain.
He began his career as a Financial Services Executive in BayPark Financial Group in USA. He also served as a business advisor and CEO of private office to HRH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His financial services expertise and business acumen earned him a presence on the Board of Directors of several organizations including Sony-ATV, International Mercantile Exchange (IMEX) , Al Waqt Newspaper Group, Gulf Energy Corporation, Energy City Qatar, British School of Bahrain, and Blue Gem Private Equity Company.
